John Currin Paintings
John Currin is a very famous artist, whose style is difficult to codify. His is an extremely contradictory and refined painting, from which transpires a solid education on the great masters of the past, however, actualized by a series of details; Special where we see sometimes a critique of American bourgeois society. His characters seem to float in a alienating, remembering part of the inner solitude of the figures of Edward Hopper or the imaginary and surreal world of Henri Matisse.

Really amazing old building with cool charm and character. Really helpful staff and a clean place. It would be great to have air conditioning as we were really hot during the heat wave. The fan helped though.

I can't say enough about Hotel Bavaria, except stay here when in Florence! We could almost reach out and touch the Duomo, the room and bathroom was clean, large and really nice. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was good, and the location can't be beat.

Ottima ubicazione e rapporto qualità prezzo. L'albergo si trova in pieno centro storico e per chi vive la città è veramente l'ideale. Cortesia e disponibilità verso gli ospiti.Anche il servizio di prima colazione si è rivelato più che adeguato. La nostra camera non si è rivelata silenziosa ma a causa degli ospiti accanto a noi un po' troppo chiacchieroni.

Magnifique Palais, chambre immense avec petite terrasse privée donnant sur les toits de Florence. Nous avons adoré cet hôtel. Il est très bien situé, juste à côté du Duomo. Idéal pour visiter la ville et flaner le soir.

Building with character in excellent location. Friendly helpful staff who gave us lots of useful info about Florence and didn't complain when I mistook the doorbell for a lightswitch! Good breakfast and great place to stay. Double room with ensuite bathroom, very spacious.

Best of all I liked the interior and exterior of this palazzo, located very close to everything interesting in Florence. You can really feel the spirit of this romantic town living there. For this hotel type service was excellent and organized clever and smart, e.g. the reception worked 24 hour, breakfasts were nice, the staff spoke english and was extremely obliging. Next time in Florence I'll choose Hotel Bavaria for sure.

Questo Hotel è stato veramente una sorpresa.
Si trova in pieno centro di Firenze, in un'antico palazzo, le stanze sono pulite, ben arredate in stile fiorentino, quasi tutte hanno il bagno in camera e la vista dalle finestre è spettacolare...
Colazione compresa, con succhi di frutta, cappuccino, caffè, dolci industriali, volendo colazione salata in stile anglosaassone.
Assolutamente da consigliare.

“Accogliente ed economico in pieno centro a Firenze”
L'hotel è dislocato in un'ottima posizione, ben raggiungibile a piedi o con l'autobus di linea se si arriva dalla stazione, un po' più scomodo con l'auto se non si vuole parcheggiare nei garage a pagamento nei pressi.
In 5 minuti a piedi si possono raggiungere le principali vie dello shopping.
Le camere sono ampie e pulite, la colazione è ricca e offre molta scelta tra marmellate, cioccolata, cereali, yogurt ecc.
Personale molto gentile.
